Our core team includes mental health and youth work specialists, consultants and thinkers from various walks of life. We are united by enthusiasm, interest and respect for the human being. We strive for an understanding, intelligent, flexible, but also optimistic, easier and more open approach to mental health issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do we hope to achieve?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just as the head is an important and normal part of our body, mental health is a part of our quality of life. We want mental health to be as normal and visible a part of our lives as the head is a part of our body. We want all people to know that they have mental health to care for.<\/p>\n<p>Everything that happens inside our heads is with us all the time. Everyone has a head, and we have the right, the opportunity and the responsibility to make the best use of it.<\/p>\n<p>There are many good, effective and useful ways to maintain your head and mental health, both in the world and in Estonia. We want people to be able to use them and talk to each other about them.<\/p>\n<p>We want to reduce the suffering caused by mental disorders.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, only a third of people turn to a specialist with depression. Anxiety disorders often rob many decades of good life because they are not recognized and the right cures cannot be found. People with a state of psychosis sometimes suffer for years before finding a way to get help.<\/p>\n<p>Stigma associated with mental disorders disables a significant percentage of Estonian people, making them helpless and ill.<\/p>\n<p>It is well known that mental health disorders can be prevented or reduced by early intervention. Everyone can improve their well-being.
